Access the Heatmap

The Heatmap view is currently available only for the ECV subject. To open it:

  1. Go to the Timelines application through the topbar.

  2. Select ECV in the subject dropdown (top left).

  3. Click Heatmap in the view toggle bar.

How it Works

The Heatmap displays a matrix of ECVs (rows) × Missions (columns). Each cell is colour-coded according to the coverage status of the ECV by that Mission:

Colour Meaning
Green The ECV is fully covered by the mission.
Orange / Yellow The ECV is partially covered (some parametric constraints satisfied).
Red The ECV is not covered.
Grey The mission produces no data product relevant to that ECV.

Hovering a cell shows a tooltip with the exact coverage details. Clicking a cell opens the corresponding requirement-vs-mission detail.

Adjusting the View

  • Use the Add filter button in the toolbar to limit which ECVs or Missions appear.
  • Use the Select columns dropdown to add Parameter Value columns to the underlying data.
  • Use Reset View to clear all filters and column choices.
