Access the Sankey Diagram

The Sankey Diagram view can be accessed through the Timelines application:

  1. Go to the Timelines application through the topbar.

  2. Click on Sankey in the view toggle bar.

How it Works

The Sankey Diagram displays the flow and relationships between entities as a directed graph with proportional link widths. It is useful for understanding how entities relate to each other across the domain model.

Available Sankey Diagrams

A Sankey diagram is implemented for the following subjects:

Subject Typical relationships shown
Mission Space Programme → Mission → Segment → System → Payload
Payload Mission → System → Payload → Equipment / SubSystem
Data Product Mission → Instrument → Data Product → ECV
Space Program Programme → Mission
System Mission → Segment → System → Payload / Platform
ECV ECV → Data Product → Mission → Instrument

There is no Sankey view for the Project subject.

Interacting with the Diagram

  • Hover over a node to highlight its connections
  • Hover over a link to see the relationship details
  • Use the subject dropdown to switch between different entity relationship views
